Audio in a Team

For this project, it's the first time I've been part of a team creating audio for a larger project. Up until now, I've been an independent amateur composer and created music and experimented with audio on my own, and it's an entirely different experience to work in a team. Although music isn't the focus of this project as far as my role goes, I can already see how different it is. While working alone, I'm essentially free to create material however I want with no instructions or restrictions, but I also can't receive feedback and tips in terms of musical direction. As with music, that isn't as much of an issue, but with sound effects, I don't have much experience, so working with deadlines and more direction on how to do things is much more helpful.

I think this project will be the first step for me in terms of working as part of a team and I want to get more experience as a composer and sound designer working with various mediums. It's also the first time I've ever worked with VR, so I'm looking forward to the results.
