Hi! It's that time of the year again where we have a nice discussion about the art department of the VR project. Unfortunately to my demise we switched from the program Substance Painter (which you can learn about from our previous post) back to Adobe Photoshop where I as the texture-artist have to create textures by hand with either really old tutorials with an outdated program or non-continuous texture which the exact opposite of what we need for this project, excluding some minor textures.
Similar to Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop requires a well-equipped computer, It's a heavyweight program, and many of the tools are very intensive on the OS, It takes up a large space of room on your computer as well as RAM memory. which can sometimes slow me down when I attempt to create a very complex texture, though we maintain space by keeping all if not most textures restricted to 512x512 pixel resolution. Although I'm much more comfortable working in Photoshop than substance painter as I'm an avid user of Photoshop for 6-7 years.
